Robot Fighting Made Easy
Betz Botz | NE2.8 - 1lb Antweight Combat Robot Kit
The first and only ready-to-fight antweight kit
For Any Skill Level
This is a kit effective enough to satisfy experts and simple enough to make anyone feel like a robot technician. You can adjust the configurations based on your budget and prior knowledge, ranging from ready-to-fight setups to rolling shells. The robot is also perfectly safe for use without a test box. Regardless of experience, the NE2.8 Combat Robot Kit can fit your needs!
Winning Design
Driving 4hrs+ for an event and getting only two fights is terrible, so Betz Botz made the competitiveness of the NE2.8 Combat Robot Kit a top priority. The kit works just as well upside down as right side up, and its modular combo of attachments leave it prepared for almost any opponent. The pairing of high grip silicone wheels and powerful Repeat Robotics Brushed drive is extremely effective. Opponents often leave matches frustrated they couldn’t land a single good hit.
Extreme Durability
In a sport where robots fight to the death, Betz Botz can’t guarantee invincibility, but the NE2.8 has proven time and time again how ridiculously tough it is. A careful balance of flexibility where wanted, and rigidity where needed yields a stunning amount of strength without compromising serviceability. Nobody likes to admit needing it, but rest assured, this kit has a very high tolerance to driving errors.

A New Challenger Approaches…
Betz Botz NE2.8 vs. FingerTech Viper
Similar pricing
Same weight class (1lb antweight)
The NE2.8 is fully assembled and ready to fight while the Viper requires complete assembly
Unlike the Viper, the attachments are modular on the NE2.8, allowing them to be swapped between matches for any opponent
The NE2.8 has a superior drive system in power, traction, and durability thanks to Repeat Robotics Brushed motors and four grippy silicone wheels
The NE2.8 uses 2mm aluminum with 5mm standoffs in its chassis as opposed to the 1.5mm bent aluminum of the Viper
The NE2.8 has TPU armor which won’t crack like the polycarbonate armor of the Viper
The NE2.8 has very few sharp edges for opponents to bite as opposed to the Viper’s hard 90 degree angles
The NE2.8 has uncompromised inverted driving; meanwhile, the Viper loses wedge functionality upside down
The NE2.8 is easier to service, requiring fewer tools and less time than the Viper
